Come enjoy some girl time with cupcakes,
making practical gifts for the Atascadero Christian Home and fun dolls for the Hospital or Women’s Shelter,
a devotional by Cara,
unique entertainment,
and (hand clap please!) a short video produced by Christina on our elderly outreach for 2011.
Time: 6:00 in the Family Room at Father’s House.

This afternoon a group of us invaded the Vineyard Hills care facility and handed out our Forever Girlfriends calendars to the lovely women who live there.
We first visited women in the dining room and then those who rarely receive visitors. We never made it to all the 98 women residents, but the staff assured us that the remaining calendars will be given out at the Valentine’s party on Friday.
The women were really touched to receive something special and to know that we loved them and were praying for them. Some of them got tears in their eyes just to have visitors, a gift, and a smile given to them.
Let one of our Forever Girlfriends team members know if you would be interesting in visiting Vineyard Hills again with us during the week of Easter to bless these wonderful women.

A Touch of Grace

Ladies, we are wrapping up this year’s theme of The Art of Graceful Living by inviting you to A Touch of Grace at 6:00 on Sunday evening, December 6th in the Family room at Father’s House. This will be a dress up affair with elegant décor, food, fellowship and a focus on the grace that was brought to us through Jesus Christ.
Several of our ladies will be giving demonstrations during our meal on various ways you can include graceful living in your Holiday plans. Susan will be sharing the Christmas story along with a few ideas on how to honor the Grace Giver. This is one of those Heart to Hearts where inviting a friend might be a good idea! Just RSVP by calling the office so we know how much food to prepare and how many special gifts will be needed.
